The Mission
The Harvest Village exists to step into the gap where families are breaking and hope feels lost — providing safe housing, holistic support, and a committed community for mothers and children in crisis. We are fighting to keep children where they belong: in their homes, in their families, and surrounded by love.
We serve those the system often meets at their lowest — mothers facing homelessness, escaping domestic violence, and families walking through active child welfare cases where the risk of separation is real.
We also reach youth between the ages of ten and eighteen — children living in shelters, foster homes, group homes, detention centers, and orphanages. Many carry the weight of abuse, neglect, and the absence of a father. Through strong partnerships with juvenile departments, youth commissions, and care providers, we step into their stories with intentional support.
Our mission is simple — but urgent: To pick up the broken pieces of wounded lives and help rebuild them.
We do this by:
Equipping youth and families with life skills
Surrounding them with consistent, caring mentors
Exposing them to culture, creativity, and new possibilities
Speaking identity, purpose, and hope into places where it has been lost
Because we believe what is broken can be restored — and what has been lost can be rebuilt.
"We are fighting to keep children where they belong: in their homes, in their families, and surrounded by love."

The Vision
We envision a future where every family, no matter how fragile their situation, is surrounded by a village that provides stability, support, and hope.
A community where:
Mothers are not left to struggle alone
Children are not defined by their trauma
Crisis does not determine destiny
“Every child in that room deserves a chance to thrive.”

The Framework
Our holistic model addresses every dimension of a family's wellbeing — because lasting stability requires more than a single intervention.
